Gift Idea # 3 For The Holidays - Garden Decor

I was driving through a neighborhood the other day and one house in particular caught my eye. The subdivision was rather large and priced above $500,000. All the yards seemed to be nicely landscaped. So it wasn't the house or the yard itself, but the decor of the yard.

This yard had an impressive fountain, a couple garden statues, a lovely bench, a yard sign, and a beautiful bird house. Not only was it impressive from the street, but it got me thinking. How nice it must be to walk outside your house and be able to sit in a garden like atmosphere. I have a membership to Callaway Gardens south of Atlanta and have seen some pretty impressive things. So creating a relaxing atmosphere outside your own home can bring you much joy.

Why not turn your yard into a beautiful retreat and give your family a gift that will keep on giving. You can also help a friend or family member get started by providing a key piece to getting their yard retreat going.

Gift Idea #2 For The Holidays - Candles

Wow. It's hard to believe that tomorrow is Thanksgiving. We are so close to the official start of the Christmas shopping season. When I last left you it was just after Halloween. For the next few weeks I will be posting a little more often. I want to give you as many great gift ideas as possible.

One of the things my girlfriend loves is candles. Any time we are watching a movie at home she always has a candle burning. It's sometimes about the scent, but more often it's about the calming mood it creates. And of course there are those times when candles create a romantic atmosphere.

Through my work I have been in thousands of homes and candles are always a part of a well decorated home. They can be used in so many places. Whether in the living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, or bedroom candles really do make a great impact.

So whether you are buying for your home, a friends, a man, or a woman candles can really make great gifts.

Here are some links where you can check out tons of great candles, candle holders, oil burners, and warmers.

Gift Idea # 1 For The Holidays - Animal Collectibles

Hope you all had a great Halloween. It was great to see all the children having a great time. Whether you agree with the holiday or not you have to admit its always great to see children having fun and creating good memories.

Last time I mentioned my struggle with picking out an Anniversary gift for my girlfriend. Unlike past years I didn't buy anything expensive. What I did do was think about things that have meant a lot to her in the past and picked a gift in line with that. She was really touched and I'm sure your loved one's will be as well if you take the time to think about what means a lot to them.

Here's my first gift idea for the Holiday. One of the things I have always loved is animals. I have great memories of my trip to Yellowstone Park and to South Africa to see the amazing wildlife. My 17 year old nephew says some of his best memories are of me and him going to the zoo every couple of weeks when he was young. Whether your loved one's like wildlife, domesticated pets, or both any gift that has to do with animals can bring a lasting smile to their faces.

Animal collectibles are a great gift and they bring a lot of added character to your home decor. So here's a few links where you can find great gifts relating to animals.
